Site Overview
When you first landed at the site, you were greeted with the visual construction of a rendered backdrop. This visual effect sets the tone for a different kind of user experience. Then, you see the appearance of a collection of sub menus pleasantly positioned for simplicity, ease-of-use, and user engagement.
NetStairs’ site displays several innovative areas of interests. We start with the top menu. It is the most standard part of the menu system as defined by many content management system (CMS) tools. These buttons provide direct links to HTML, Form, and other object program modules. Below the top menu, there is a creative display of sub menus that point to three (3) sets of content libraries. Each library delivers a unique visual experience tailored for 3 types of settings; Mobile, Broadband, & HD (measured by: bandwidth & devices). Utilizing CMS menu allows compliance, search engine optimization (SEO) and easy adaptation while various content is hosted in multiple servers.
About carousel
The carousel represents an animated showcase of NetStairs platforms and technologies licensed, built, and hosted on cloud or closed as white label with integrated client services. Initially, it makes a virtual 3D round. Click the “Pause/Start" button and the carousel stops and starts spinning. Move your mouse to the NetStairs logo and the carousel returns to normal speed. Roll your mouse over the item(s) hovered over the carousel. This provides a subtle highlighted backdrop which allows you to make easier item selection. Here, we demonstrate examples of visually enhanced menu with intuitive navigational work flow.
Each item when selected from the carousel opens a page with brief text description (located on the left), picture on the right, and on-demand video which is hosted on our managed hosted servers. The video is an example of our 3D animation services prepared by our Creative & 3D department & presented as an Ad and Cybermercial® VMail broadcast model. The “Inquiry Form” button directs your request to NetStairs Platform Specialists. “Visit Website”, is a direct link where you may learn more about selected topic of interest. If you wish to avoid returning to the carousel, simply click “Next” and examine subsequent platforms. Click “Back” to return to previous platform subject. Here, we demonstrate an example of visual display of information (text, picture, & video) with Call To Action (CTA) work flow coupled with intuitive use.
Behind the scene
It all started with a pioneer vision, followed by a story telling mantra, which created the site's main theme. A storyboard (wireframe) presentation became the project manager's blueprint. A selection of production crew who ultimately created script, pre, on location, and post production shot HD content. A great deal of time was spent on 3D rendering and creating visual effects. Once completed, it was handed over to Flash Actionscript programming team, working closely with PHP programmers, web structural designers, CSS (menus), SQL database programmers, developing reusable Object modules while weaving the fibers of our site and its core objectives.
With proper knowledge and utilization of right network services, HD content is actually streamed through the world's largest content delivery network (CDN) where demand for bandwidth is substantially higher. Broadband content for DSL & Cable Modem users are seen through NetStairs dedicated servers hosted on Gigabit Ethernet pipes. Mobile video content is actually streamed through NetStairs’ IV8 Intelligent Media Middleware.
Since 2006 we have been touting the industry on how content should be provided for mobile devices.
